Lake Goodwin Fireplace Cabinets and Mantle

Walnut was an amazing choice for this fireplace mantle in Lake Goodwin. The earthy tones of the walls and floor are accented perfectly by the walnut cabinets and floating shelves.

The cabinets added some much-needed storage and a place for their tv components. Staggering the floating shelves will allow for some larger pieces of art or decor to be displayed.

The keystone in the center of the mantle allowed for a nice breaking point between boards on the front of the mantle. If you look close you can see that the grain on either side of the keystone is almost a perfect match.
